Which is better Vortech or Paxton?

I have the Vortech SC-trim. I really really really really wish I had listened to RydeOn when I bought my blower. Maybe its just me but I would rather have a Novi sitting under the hood of my car. The S-trim doesnt compare to the Novi 2000, the YS-trim would be a better fight with the Novi 2K. Thank god I plan on going turbo or something in a couple years. To bad I will have spent money on this kit that I wouldnt have needed too. But the quality of both are top notch. The SC-trim has a lot of potential, that a lot of people havent released yet(including me). It makes me happy for now, but if I had a 5.0 that I wanted a good basic kit it would def be a Paxton.

For comparison's sake take a look at nmra real street and see what the fast guys are running(not counting the 2 valves, or nitrous setups lol). Unported heads(aluminum is allowed), unported intakes(mainly tfs street), stock cams and trick shortblocks....9.70's with the novi 2000. Memory isn't functioning right now but i do think they've run .60's...or at least will do it this weekend if not quicker at joliet. Of course this is with spinning them 7500rpms or more!

I bought my blower before this season started...there wasn't a question as to what i was looking for and bought to build my real street combo.....

I have a Novi 2000 and am 150% happy with it. What do you guys use for bypass valves? Is vortech a good one?

I haven't ran mine yet...but i've got the vortech mondo bypass.

That will have a vaccum line running to it, right? I got the polished vortech version for 225 sound right? How does it bolt onto the pipe?

How much is a kenne bell kit? If I remember correctly when I priced it up before I bought my novi 2000 it was around 4000. Very nice blower though.

theres a kenne bell on ebay for like 900 and the reserve is met i thinkfor a 86-93 motor
