Which mod?

I was going to put a supercharger on my ’04 GT, but I really hate the 5-speed-OD tranny it’s got. Would I be better off swapping trannys? (For which?) or just living with the high-end bog-down and putting on the blower.

I would say the supercharger may help to eliminate any high end bog! If not, add some 3.55's or 3.73 gears!

what the hell are you doing in 5th gear WOT?

thats like 135+


that bog is called OVER DRIVE... your not supposed to be racing in OVER DRIVE, its a gas milage gear... .62 is the ratio for the TR-3650's 5th gear...

It's not about being in 5th at WOT is about being at top end fourth and getting the next kick and its not a kick is a whoosh. In order to get into a good gear range during the shift to 5th (3,500 rpm+) you have to be at 5,500 rpm (110 mph)in 4th.
