Which plugs to use?

Alright SN.. I think it's time for a plug change for my Mustang. I have no clue what kind of plugs, other than getting exactly what came from the factory.

What kind should I get? Why should I get them? How much should I expect to pay?

Yeah thats what i was going to say. Here is some stuff from STEEDA. They have 8mm and 9mm wires...but i have NO idea what mm we have stock...

In another 10k miles, i'll probably be doing the same tune up, but i think i'll be just going with the factory Ford Motorsport stuff. I haven't decided yet...

Here are some tips:

-blow out the plug wells before you remove plug
-do not remove fuel rails
-clean and condition the COP rubber boots with 303 Aerospace Protectant or silicone spray
-use silicone dielectric grease on electrical contact mating surfaces
-torque plugs to spec and check them in a couple weeks
-use Motorcraft AGSF-32C spark plugs gapped at .054

i have autolite double platinum plugs

Platinum lasts longer than copper but has a cooler spark than copper.

Thanks for those articles Killy!! I'm glad I got to see the different conditions of plugs, I never really knew what to look for til now. And i'm glad to say that mine are like the "Normal Conditions" plug, even with my advanced timing

Yup, I switched to copper at 30K and will continue to use it. Stock gaps is .54. Mine are gapped to .45
