I went with the expensive transgo kit from Summitt and it was quite a bit of work. Some people might say its easy but I wouldn't say that. The car shifts firm and properly but a few months after I did it, I saw an add for a valve body for a little more money already done. Plug and play. I highly suggest that because with the transgo kit, I had to pull the valvebody anyways to modify it.Hope this helps.

Spend the money and get a valve body from lentech. My buddy (gearhd6 on here) had one in his car before the 5spd swap, and that thing shifted awesome. He used the stock shifter, and the valve body converted the shift pattern to 1-2-3, instead of 1-2/3-4, and it had a push button o/d. Nice setup.

This is a shopping thread and not a technical thread.

Edit: Below is a beautiful example of what a tech thread looks like.

I`ve read some posts that say the Transgo kit shifts into OD at wide open throttle, even with OD switched off.Not good.

Baumann seems to get good reviews.

The Transgo has been good for what I wanted but I would love to have that 1-2-3/4 shift pattern to play with. It's set to full firm which at times is a bit much in normal driving but at WOT I love it. It hits hard and shifts just above 5k. I plan on upgrading to an Art Carr or Lentech tranny whenever the stock AOD gives out.

Partly true. The Transgo will alllow WOT shift to OD but only if the shifter is in OD. The Transgo kit doesn't change the shift pattern (unless they've upgraded since I got mine's) like the Lentech so you can't "switch off" over drive anyway. You still need to keep the shifter in "D".

Somewhat incorrect: The Transgo kit can be installed correctly to never allow WOT shifts in to OD. Just leave the included 3-4 spring out and use the stock one. Then you never have to worry about shifting in to OD at WOT. I have mine installed with the full race shifting and it is fine on the street, I like it. I also do the 1-2 shuffle with the kit and it works perfectly without feeling that sudden jerk when you shift from D back to 1st so it does not harm the AOD. It is a good kit. I wish it shifted harder though and with no delay.

I have a trans-Go.... but baumann is good as well. saty away from B&M.... And if you do Trans-Go, eliminate the WOT @ OD kit, small box.. It burns the O.D. out. other than that-trans go-Is ont he $$$ for me.

It will never shift into od at wot if you leave it in D anyways. just make sure you leave it in d on the street.
