If you are asking about levers, a Hurst 538 4106 available from Summit, the shift unit on the transmission is the stock T5. I will change it later to one with a more positive return to center for a better shift to third.
The Hurst lever looks good, comes far enough back to make the 3, 5 shifts with out reaching. It is a little high so one with the same set back but shorter by a couple of inches would work well too. It also has an offset that brings it closer to the driver.
I have a B&M Ripper in my 68, and my wife's 90 has a UPR shifter. Truth be told, I like the UPR better, and I'm thinking about putting one in my 68 and getting rid of the ripper. Not that I don't like it, I just like the UPR better.
I have a steeda tri-ax in my 98 gt that has a t-45 and i absolutely love it. I am probably going to go with that one but i was wandering is it really that uncomfortable with the t5 shifter handles in the 65's.. im a short (5'7) so i dont sit very far back.
I have driven a 5 speed ford with a hurst, pro 5.0 and steeda and steeda is by far the best shifter i have driven.
B&M ripper is NOT the way to go. Have one in the Cobra kit car on a tremec. Would never buy another. The Pro 5.0 on a T-5 works great for me in the 66.
Just my $.02.
