Which shock strut kit to roll with?

So I'm looking into replacing my shocks and struts but I'm havin a hard time deciding between the tokico Hp kit or the D spec adjustable kit. I don't really autocross or hit the drag strip to often. Just curious if anyone out there has input on either kit likes and dislikes. Also while im opening up the front end I kinda wanna replace the Upper strut mounts to still fix my clunking I get. Readin around my next guess is its gonna be the Strut mounts or the bearings. Curious of the difficulty on that and would Dies buying the Upper strut mounts come with new bearings?

Combos?

I have the Illuminas which are similar to the D Specs for less. The combo makes a difference with whatever springs you are running. What are you running? A lot of people run Eibachs and Ford C's. I have ran both. Eibachs now with Stock Blown out rears was baaaaddd. Road like ****. Previous Generation (Slightly Shorter for the lowering ) Illuminas are very nice and most likely similar to G Specs without as much adjustment. Get adjustables they are the best. ON 1 you are almost at Luxo car ride and at 5 race tight and handling but bearable. I had a previous 97 GT with the Ford Racing C's and Sensa Trac Monroes for the SN95 standard length shock. With this Combo it road smoother than stock- Really! Strange but true and with much better handling. The C's took the Fidgity-ness out of the Chassis settling it down making it feel more glued to the road. For Cheap this is the way to go and either way I think going with the earlier version shock which is shorter will help as well with longevity.
Shocks make all the difference in these combos. If you have the money the adjustables are great. Actually would like to see how the C's and Illuminas would work together. Kinda Like the C's better to be honest.

the HP's will do you just fine...especially if you wont be doing any track stuff...even still, mine work very well in the handling department...

they're a great price and great for a street car...d specs would be nice but a waste on a car thats not going to be hitting the track often
