Which shocks

So Ive decided to go with the Eiback Pro-Kit springs and now I am looking at shocks. I have used Bilstiens on cars in the past but they are so expensive for my 2000 GT. This car is my daily ride so I dont think I need adjustables; just something to complement the springs and not kill me when I encounter a pot hole. I want a decent ride yet still help the car turn like its on rails. I have heard the Mach1 shocks/struts are good but have not seen them anywhere. Where is the best place to get them and how much? :bang:

I have H&R's and went with the Mach 1 shock/strut combo, they were only $210 shipped for the set from http://www.fordpartsnetwork.com. Do a search on the forum, nothing but good reviews.

I like the price on the Mach1 combo!! BTW Ive never used adjustables from lowered truck, lifted 4x4, 72 Nova, 69 Chevelle, and a 63 Mercury have been my past vehicles. Also a Bilstien shock is stiffer than a KONI on its highest setting. I dont like the idea of having to make an adjustment to go from cruising to canyon carving. From what Ive been told from all you guys the Mach1's seem to be the way to go and the price compared to TOKICO adjustables or Bilstiens makes it a no brainer!!

If you don't want to drop a whole lot of cash on adjustables, then I would get the Tokico HP shocks and struts. I've heard only good things from the guys using those.

I have Tokico HP's and Eibach Pro-Kit springs. For a daily driver, I highly recommend the combo.

once you step up to a good ajustable you are spending as much money as you would on bilstiens really.

It think I would try the mach 1 setup if I were on a budget. they are made by tokico I am not sure how they compare to the hp's but they are $100 cheaper.
