cant decide on which springs to get, i want to lower 1-1.25 inches and i dont really go to the track, but i still what decent of the line, and decent handling

i am looking at either steeda sport springs, ford b or ford c springs and i cant decide what is right for me.

I will prob get new shocks in a few months but not right away

I also want an even look for the wheel gaps, dont want raked or whatever.

any advice would be helpful

I don't think lowering springs are going to help you so much off the line as LCA's and things like that. The C springs will give you a little drop, but not a whole lot.. they're cheap, however. I haven't heard much about the B springs, and I haven't heard any complaints about the Steeda springs either, except for the price.. but like anything, you're paying for the name.

im pretty sure the spring rates for the steeda are the same as the ford c springs cept steeda 100 more so i guess rules those out

but then between b & C springs then?

from what i know the c are progressive in rear and linear front while the b are progressive all around

just dont know what would be best for what i want

I would also look at the tokico hp kit. I think you can get the whole setup for around $400 shipped. I think someone got around 1.25 drop with them.

basically the c springs are going to give you a rougher ride but better handling most likely. the B springs are going to be a bit softer. they are fairly soft though.

I like the rates on the H&R sports for handling concers. I think it is a better comprimise between ride and handling than the C or B springs.

Here's a C-spring vs. stock comparison

right know i am split between ford C and steeda sport ---basically i would just like to know if the quality of the steeda is better or if it is just the name, or if maybe the steeda weight less, etc

i do not want anything other than one of these two but please help me decide

sorry if im being a pain in the *** just trying to find out some answers that the search didnt help too much with...

yeah...already did that didnt find the definate answer i wanted to hear, everyone says what they have is the best, i want to know what really is...i will get to the bottom of this
there really is no better of the 2. they are basiclly the same spring, just one of them you are paying for a name, their advertized drop isn't the same but the realworld drop is about same. the only technical difference is that the C spring has a harder progressive weight in the rear (250-300) compared to steedas progressive rate (200-250)

get the C springs, they're cheaper

well after much deliberation ive decided to get the c springs, same spring basically, much cheaper, etc.

I am going to put em on and then if the back is a little bit too high i will just remove the isolators and put on some thin rubber tubbing from home depot so it doesnt squeak.

Thanks for all of your help!
