which springs will give me the least amount of drop??

i'm wanting to lower my car,but i don't wanna drop it 1.5" or 2".
i was looking for somthing that would drop my car no more than 3/4" or so.
i have heard that the steeda springs will work well for my app.
the reason being that i don't wanna lower my car that much is because
a)i have been told that the lower you lower your car,the less traction you will have.
b)i don't wanna have a hard time getting my car up on ramps.

any help is appreciated guys!

what you are looking for is Ford Motorsport B springs, they will lower the car about an inch in the front and 3/4" in the rear, It will sit level once it is done. I installed these on my 00 GT and I needed more of a drop so I went with sportlines. As for traction its not the drop its the fact that most lowering springs have a stiffer spring rate which will hamper weight transfer thus a loss of traction. I get around that by running Dr's on the street and slicks at the track. even with the DR's I can still cut 1.8's 60' with the sportlines. The B's work much better at the track. As for ramps, I had trouble getting mine on a set stock without hitting, so that wasnt an issue. can always build a small set of wood "steppers" to get on the ramp.. Thats what I built to get a jack under mine... Good luck!

Ehh...I always thought Steeda springs lowered it about 1.5" all around.

Take a look at FORD RACING, B or C springs. They will give you about 7/8" drop front and rear and cost $140.00 a set.

The c's give more of a drop than the B's more like 1-1/4" plus they are a specific rate spring(650 lb/in) where the b's are a progressive rate(425/530), both rears are the same(200/300), since he is concerned with traction issues I would stick with the B springs. I have used both in the past. The ford part # is M-5300-B ..the M used to stand for motorsport before they changed the name over to ford racing as you so kindly put in caps above..been dealing with them for so long just used to the old name..

My FRPP "C's" dropped mine 1 1/4 inches in the front and about 1 inch in the back.

my steeda sport springs.....i don't think it did much more than 1in.
Some people can't tell I lowered it unless you compare to a stock car. I've convinced myself that if i weighed more it might've done down more. haha

stock springs give you about 0" of drop... nothing to worry about there

the Mach 1 springs and shocks won't drop the car a whole lot. if you want to go a little further, then go with the Bullits.

I have a 97 and did a 2" drop.DON'T DO IT!!!Im shopping for some springs myself.Its way too low!!Im raising it back up an 1".

i'd look into the bullitt kit, springs/shocks/struts/sway bars for under 400 total. good kit for the money. most i've heard it drops is 1in. lots of happy users on these forums.
i personally wanted just a bit more so i went with the steeda set up.

I had concerns about dropping my car too low also because I had planned to do LTs afterwards. I went with Steeda Sport Springs, and I don't think it even dropped it 1.5" lower all around.
