thanks for all the help everyone,
remat- i dont have the motor in a mustang yet its in an 85 ranger 4x4, but that thing has enough power to get through anything in 2 wheel drive. its been through mud so deep it was over the rear bumper

No problem!
A 302 in a Ranger would be great...they kickbutt with just the 4.0 6-cyl!

Let me know how that combo goes. I am leaning towards Performer Heads and intake too but am still undecided on a cam...
