which steeda hood?

im looking into buying a steeda hood. there are two different ones, they are both identical conseticaly. one says that it is 9 lbs lighter and have bigger openings than the other. does anyone have any of these and wich one do you guys recommend? there is a $125 difference.

I have the race version of the Steeda cowl hood and I am very happy with the fit and finish. The main difference, besides the weight, is the race version is open completely across the cowl area and the street version just has a cut out on the drivers side. This open area allows for good cooling airflow and it also allows the windshield washer nozzles to be mounted upside down under the cowl so they are both out of sight and don't dribble on the hood like they do stock.

I have the street version and like it a lot. The hole could be larger, but I don't need the weight savings...

Thanks for the heads up. Both of your cars look awesome! I think I will order the race version since the vent is bigger. retfr8flyr can you post additional pics of your ride since mine is also the same color as yours so I can see how mine will look like. Or maybe you have pics somewhere where I can look at them? Thanks guys. I think the steeda hood looks the best, without a drastic over the top look.
