My take on this, I had an 01 gt with a kb on it in the past, the little kb for the 2v cars is the 2.1 this blower is designed to be used on a stock motor, it does not perform well on a built motor and no way will make 600hp period, you would have to go with a 2.6 then you would need a hood, and a whole list of other things, and this again is made for a built motor, and really should be done as one package all together, and trust me it will cost you plenty. If you are looking to get a blower right now on a stock bottom end and then upgrade as time goes on get the vortech t-trim or the novi as stated...ya kb is awsome for down low tourqe and instant boost, but I been in vortech cars and they are just as awsome, and dont worry about taping the oil pan its nothing, and in fact I think a lot easier then dealing with changing blower oil, trust me its a pain the butt big time, check out keenebell.net, and also mph and then go from there, search the threads, but unless u want to put down prob over 15 or more on the 2.6 and a built motor your best bet is to build your way up with the vortech or novi, thats what I would do if I did it again, I got rid of my 2v though for a cobra, I mean look at the 05 and up cars keenebell makes a 2.6 that fits these cars as a kit and can be upgraded through time with more boost forged internals etc, but as far as the 2v cars go 99-04 its just not worth going with a kb unless u got tons of money to burn, or you are satisifed with the little 2.1....my take on this

one of my friends has an 03 gt and he has a pisc with a 3 core intercooler and blowers cams with 4.10's,a ,built rear end ,t56 and every other little thing you can think of

anyways ,it puts down around 485rwhp and he has run in the 10's on slicks....his car also weighs 3000 pounds

this is also the set up i want to use....the pisc with a 3 core

all thsi being said ,it does not take much power to run in the high 10's

he is pushing 12psi on the stock internals...BUT ,he only does this because he has a built motor going into his car in a week or two.....i would not recomend doing this much boost on stock internals unless you plan n putting a new motor in soon

lol jeez mine has 68k and i don't have the money to get a new motor so the supercharger will have to make due on that motor lol...but the only good thing is since the gas is soaring, i will be riding a bicycle(yes a pedal bicycle) to work lol work is only 2 miles away....so there won't be many miles put on the car this summer
