Which trans fuild for t45?

Putting a clutch in the 98 gt. Figured change the fluid causet it has 80K. Spec say synthec mercon. im thinking about using redline's d4 atf. Anyone know about this stuff or recomend another good one.

last summer I had a grind in second gear when shifting at higher rpm's so I wanted to change my tranny fluid. I searched around and it sounded like the redline D4 ATF was the best so I went with that. I drained out the old, put in some cheapo fluid to flush out any old, ran it for a while, drained it, and put in the redline. It feels great now, and no more grinds going into second. Awhile ago there was a thread saying tremec stated not to use redline in their trannys, but its working awsome and theres no way in hell Im draining $50 worth of fluid out of my car. maybe someone else will say for sure.
