If the KB is the only supercharger you're willing to go with, then go ahead and go that route. It will be fun....even if it is expensive.
actually KB is not the only S/C i want to slap on. But people just keep saying so much good things about KB so i thought i might as well do that.
My first plan ever was to get a Vortech SC but they are still costly, not as much as the KB of course .i dont know what would you guys vote for as the best SC to use along with stock internals?

if you accually are gonna buy an 07 gt 500 then don't waste your money on the 04 gt. just chill and wait.

your right. I know i will never get that $$$ spent on the 04 back. But its okay because i will never sell it.And i kinda wanna have a bit more power on it. Lets say around 300rwhp atleast. Then i will chill and wait for summer 2006 :D
i love this GT so much and but alot of effort in it.I have no intensions of ever selling it, thats why i dont think the $$$ will be a complete waist, plus i work really hard in my job and make lots of $$

Nick is right. Save your $. You will NEVER get back the $ you spend now on the '04. Can I test drive your '07 GT 500 when you get it?

hell yah you can test drive it.Pay $20 and take a number :)
just kidding. But i do know what you mean , its a hell of a car , i cant wait :D

a win is a win. if you stay with 4.6 you will lose too many times. any joker with a blower wins. lets say you go all out.

electric water pump
air conditioner delete
non power steering rack - power steering delete
most radical .600 lift 230 [email protected] cam
cnc heads 12:1 C/R
1 5/8" to 2" stepped headers with 3"x18" extensions bullet header mufflers/turn downs
sheet metal intake
forged internals.
you are still looking at 375 flywheel HP

what is keeping a KB guy from doing the same things
KB with your stock motor = 400+HP and 400+ torque. minimum.
i hate power adders, but with 4.6 to work with it sucks.

my opinion. = stroke it if you stay N/A. so muck money. and still have less than K/B

maybe if you have green
build it n/a with intentions for KB. i am kinda doing that. if i am still slow what choice is there ? i have already seen 3v heads on e-bay. maybe that is good idea? this months MMFF has an all out 4.6 3v. what is the HP 450 i think. i haven't read it close. no VCT. repeat no VCT. the heads flow 220 cfm stock. 300+ cfm all out. exhaust seems to be limit. ford didn't allow much room for bigger exhaust. go figure.

i have contacted livernois today about puchasing a 3v cam. they tols me a couple of weeks to a month and a half. i really wanted one before i put it in. 400+ hp and fixed cam timing is real incouraging. maybe wait a little and put 3v's on. read article. hard to beat 220 cfm even with cnc 2v's.

for what it is worth. go ahead guys and kill me over this.
