I picked up a set of 18x8 18x9.5

I'm considering painting the car the 67' lime gold color and some matte black accents.

Tomorrow the short block gets sent to the maching shop .

*Dart block billet internal 408w, cnc ported vic jrs, cammotion solid roller cam, spyder efi intake ,1000cfm 4 barrel tb* This along with a B&G twin t-67 turbo kit man this is the closest I've been to completing this car in a verrrry long time.

i dig the idea of going lime gold and instead of matte black go with gunmetal in those spots. That would be killer

That sounds like one hell of an engine you are building. I'd love to get updates on that as it goes in there. I also agree on the gunmetal wheels.

Dropped off the engine today I should have an update of how much it's going to cost to machine and assemble it next week.

It's taken about 7 years to accumulate all the parts and this year is the year that I finally put them all together. The car will probably not be done and running but I am shooting to having the drive train and suspension along with the body and paint done this year. Then next year worry about finishing the wiring and interior pieces.

I'm looking for more of a weekend mostly street ocassional strip car.

Specs are as follows:
Front suspension- MII coil overs, tubular arms, power rack, 13" baers slotted drilled brakes, possibly 2" drop spindles later if the car sits too high for my taste.

Rear suspension- Martz 4 link, coil overs, dana 60 3.54 gears, 35 spline, big bearing 9" ends 12" c4 vette slotted drilled brakes and of course mini tubed.

Engine- As listed above Dart block billet internal 408w, cnc ported vic jrs, cammotion solid roller cam, spyder efi intake ,1000cfm 4 barrel tb 83 lb injectors. The B&G twin turbo set up with twin t-67 turbos, jgs wastegates, mondo valve, 3" exhaust all the way to the back with race bullets. There might be some changes to the cold side of the turbo due to room I might not be able to run the intercooler and might have to opt for meth injection or an air to water cooler in the fender.

FAST gen 7 to manage the engine

oh and an ABS electric master cylinder to stop the power.

Transmission- Lentech AOD all the bells and whistles minus SFI bell rated at 1500hp along with their billet 10" convertor.

Interior deluxe brushed with phantom gauges, scat seats, 8 point cage tied to thru the floor subframes that allows to keep the complete interior, rear seat delete. Some kind of sound system since I have a 7" kenwood navigation unit jl audio set up including 1000.1 and 12w7 that I pulled off my 03' harley truck I'll probably throw it in this bucket.

It aint much to look at right now but should be something more in about 3 months once it comes out of the body shop.

In the mean time how about a pic of the FFR that the mustang will share the garage with.
