Yea, cuz i have an X-pipe now, and its loud and i love it, but its kinda raspy.. its only taken me 2 years to figure that out, lol but i heard my friends car with flowmaster 40's with an H-pipe and OMG.. that was nasty..
PLus i was told there wouldnt be a power difference.. (if so, very very little)
How much louder is the O/R versus catted? I want to eventually get one on mine but I don't want it overly loud. Currently have Flowmaster 3-chamber catback. It was on the car when I bought it.
I have the BBK H-pipe and love the rumble of it, reminds me of my old 5.0. Was not alot louder than with stock but noticable and I did not notice any bottom end improvements SOP but after 3400 and the intake opened to short runners it made a BIG defference in how the car pulled.
I'll be posting videos next weekend. I found a good deal on an O/R Hpipe and will be putting it on this weekend. I am very very excited to hear the difference.. i'll keep you guys posted and thank you all for the help and answers...

i had a prochamber but now have an x.i love them both so cant really go wrong,only thing i dont agree with is your brand of choice,not a big fan of bbk.
I'm not sure what kind of tricks you have up your sleeve to get that H pipe on, but unless you have a new catback too its not gonna work dude. Pro exhaust made your exhaust have ... Headers, then a flange then pipe all the way to the tail pipes.
Remember how we had to cut it to get your trans out? And you cant have them just put flanges on, untill you get the H pipe, to figure out how long it needs to be! Hope you get it figured out though. you're gonna like the H pipe though. With how you always like the 5.0's
Andy- well the Hpipe has flanges on it already and then they will have to cut the pipe off (before the mufflers.. duh lol) and then cut the Hpipe to fit in that area. Then weld it up.. I wasnt totally sure if thats what you were getting at in your last post and if not, please correct me and dont make me feel dumb jk..
Otherwise it will just be a cut and hack job.. Cut out the flanges off the Hpipe, then cut the Xpipe out and re-weld. If that isnt right, **** i dont know what will lol..
Oh and i was going to ask you, what your final price was on your dyno tune? I called them and they said about 300bucks or so... that Horsepower ranch.. I think its time i need to go... Oh p.s i got my air bag, horn, and cruise control fixed..
I dont know how great of a deal you're getting on it but a brand new LT H pipe can be had for about 100 bucks. I wouldn't have it welded on, because then you're gonna ahve to have it cut off and welded on again when you pull the tranny. Spend the extra 50 or so and have some flanges welded on there. I have no idea why pro exhaust didn't do that in the first place
I think my tune ran me 150. It only took 1 hour. Its 150 an hour. I think he is expecting to have to spend more time with your car because of the PI swap. But I would say it'd cost 150 for you since your tune isn't too far off.
The clock spring has connectors on it under the steering column that you can take off easily. So that should make your install go alot easier

I got an Hpipe for 100 bucks lol funny that you say that and its in the mail right now. Got it from a guy here on stangnet..
I was thinking the same thing about the flanges.. i would HATE to always have them cut and re-weld everytime i need something.. yes it hasnt been alot but its just a dumb idea.. i totally understand what your saying about that..
I did get a new clock spring and put in that one (professionally like ya taught me lol) i got it from that mustang junk yard for 50bucks instead of 150 from ford.
When i go to get it done would you like to meet me at pro exhaust and check it out? its up to you...
