I get this whining noise only when I "accelerate" and "deccelerate" and while driving past 30mph. This sound only comes on when it hits about 30mph. It sounds like a nail in my tire kinda like sound because it sounds like "2 mini plastic balls inside a rattle" rattling faster when I go faster usually always past 30mph. But there is no nail in my tire and the mechanic said that if it was a nail/screw, you could hear it at even 2mph.

The mechanic sat in my car as I drove to listen for what the sound is. He doesn't exactly know but believes it's aerodynamic issues (for example, air going through my wing assuming it was loose somewhere making a whistling sound). He said it's not the engine because the sound doesn't happen when I'm at a stop.

Any ideas guys?

Well when you say rattleing like in a can first thing i think of is Detonation...and it happens under load. You might need to have your tune checked.

it's a rattling noise but it also "whistles" like as if I was really whistling...

Would any of these mods contribute to "different" sounds on a car? I just did the following mods about 2 weeks ago:

13" Rear Baer Eradi Speed brake upgrade and 13" 10th Anniversary Cobra front upgrade.

I will take into consideration on what you say and install the stock code back on to see if I still hear that sound.

If its more of a whistle then a rattle then its most likely aerodynamics...but installing the stock tune and checking for detonation is a good idea just incase. I'd hate for you to have an issue like that and not be able to drive that pretty car because your getting the engine replaced.
The noise is coming from the front?

I agree, but I would think the mechanic would have picked up on that.

I had just installed the stock tune back on, and it's still making that sound.

My friend went with me, and he can hear it coming from the back and singles it out on the brakes. I guess it's the Baer Eradi Speed rotors? Also when I step on the brakes, it makes a "powering down" whistling sound.

The installer told me that there was some kind of sound with the rear brakes as well, but I wasn't sure if this whistling sound is the one he's talking about.

I've also heard of issues, but I think the main problem was with the crossdrilling with no ventilation between. I heard that it was causing noise. I'm hoping my rotors cut plain won't have that problem. I'll let you all know if they work out well.

I pulled this quote from another thread and I'm wondering if this is the problem/issue with sound

The new pads release gases as they break in and the holes in the rotors will make a popping/whining as the gases are released. This will stop after a week or two.

Perhaps you have a gnome stuck somewhere inside your car and he likes to whistle while driving?

you should be fine, I pushed it and put the 10lb pulley on. The 9lb pulley with the stock block is the way to go.
