white face guages

i want some white face guages for my 00 gt, either upr or speedhut. from what i have read, with the upr or speedhut guages, it is not necessary to remove the needles (please confirm). also, will i have to cut the clear front piece to the guage cluster for installing the guages or does it just unscrew?

I got the speedhut gauges. The clear cover unscrews quite easily. What you want to, though, is unplug it from the two harnesses connected to it before removing it. Then you can remove the cover and install the gauges on your kitchen table. And ... yes ... you can install the gauges with the needles intact. Remember to use use the 2-sided tape they provide, and check that the needles swing well without catching on the gauge face.

No need to cut the clear plastic or take the needles off. They just slide right on.
