I bought a white illuminated gauuge for my v6 and it needs to be connnected to the headlight power assembly. The haynes manual i have sucks. How do I know where the headlight power assembly is, and which one is positive negative (i can't find my stupid voltmeter)
Connect the red wire (+12V) to the big brown wire that is on the headlight connector. The connector is found behind the shaft that the headlight knob is attached to. Connect the black wire to the all black wire that is on the wiring harness for the gauge cluster. By connecting, I mean, cut the insulation off of the wire so the wire is exposed, then wrap the wire around it and tape it up with electrical tape. This is the cheaper way of doing it but it works.
