I'm probably buying a 96 GT tomorrow and the guy is giving me a set of '99 PI heads and '99 intake to match. I'm in DFW, TX area, and I was wondering if there was a local 4.6 head-porting guru, or if I should ship them off to someone...And whats the cost to expect?

Also getting aftermarket cams but I haven't seen them yet. I don't think there are many aftermarket cams available yet, so anyone wanna guess at what they might be?

Have cams...

The car I'm buying in the morning is coming with a set of cams installed on the PI heads(not on the car yet) But he doesn't know what the cams are, just that they are aftermarket. So how much HP can a 4.6 make N/A with ported heads and cams. What is the most I can expect from the best/most porting job and the most awesome cams ??? You can figure in full exhaust and all other supporting mods cuase its gonna have it all. But I want to know what potential lies in this motor, because I can't live with 200RWHP...I'll shoot myself

porting depends on what you want ..On average a good port job with valves and all runs 1200.00 +.

Mine were done by renagade racing in michigan.
Cams you have lots of choices..comp cams(i run a custom set of these),vt engines cams, crane now has some, and crower has some..Bu they are not cheap like 5.0 cams they average 550.00 for the pair ,then you need springs..
