Who has dropped their 99-04?

I have a 2004 Mustang GT. I don't like the 4x4 suspension. I need to keep it streetable, since it is my daily driver, but I want to drop it a bit. The Eibach Pro-kit looks interesting. Any suggestions?

I just very recently installed the eibach pro kit. I would recommend those, but I'm biased. Regardless of the springs you choose, you'll love them. Your car will look 100% better, and handle better too. Here's a current thread discussing the same thing.

Does anyone have the Eibach Handling Kit? The one I am looking at is PN 3517.680

How does this compare to simply using the Eibach Pro-Kit PN 3510.140 (springs only)?

Obviously there is a lot more hardware included with the handling kit, but what are the benefits? Is the suspension geometry modified with the handling kit or does it only change the stiffness? What is the extra $800 giving me?

Eibach pro kit is ok, but I dont think the drop is enough. I used the H&R supersports & I love the drop & the handling. I would suggest doing struts & shocks also because the stiffer spring rate will wear out the stockers. I went with Bilsteins, but Tokico, Koni, or KYB agx's should work also, and if your on a budget the Mach 1 Tokico's are ok too. I definately wouldnt do springs without them. Plus some good caster camber plates are a must because you wont be able to get your alignment right without them. Here are some pics of my car with the H&R's etc.

Also on a side note. I think your car would look way better without the bra on it. I know its on there for a reason but it would look better without it IMO. Thats just my opinion though, dont take it the wrong way. To each his own, right??

The extra $800 is gonna give you a full kit with spring & shock rates that are tuned to each other. Plus much beefier sway bars which I think you would only need in the rear because the stock front sway bar is already adequate. It looks like a good kit though, I just dont know how good there struts & shocks are because I havent used them before. Like I said though Bilsteins are top notch & they last forever.

Well since no one has posted a pic of pro-kit yet. Here is mine. ITs the pro-kit with bilstein Struts, and i also have M&M C/C plates i love the ride. But i think imma get some H&R springs soon.

I went with the C-Springs. Cut about 3/4 coil off of the rear to even out the rake a little.

After looking at the chart, I'm going with the B springs. I want to maintain the ride quality and to be honest, I think the car handles just fine as is. I'm not looking for a road racer.

I could tell a big difference in stiffer handling when I installed the Eibach Pro Kit springs on my car, and I can't imagine driving a mustang without them again.

A few months later I installed the Eibach anti-roll kit that you have pictures (minus the shocks) and the handling got *even* better. E.g. when I pass someone at high speed, it doesn't feel like a boat in a storm anymore, it's got more of a go-cart feel to it. I certainly feels like the car has got a much better grip on the road.

Besides cornering, it also improved acceleration/deceleration significantly in terms of how the car feels connected to the road.
