This is for the Guys who have taken apart there motor. My vert top motor just died. It has worked since day 1, no problems. I get clicking of both relays and get 12volts out of each one. I have read some threads that some people have taken it apart to find problems. So I took mine out and opened it up. Besides being dirty, I found one of the contacts soldered to a wire and one that was not. There is a bare wire in there, but it looks like it was cut off even, not like it just fell off the contact and there is nothing to solder to on the contact itself. So should both contacts both be connected?
Also If I purchase a used motor, how do I bench test it to make it works?
What should the readings be on the meter?
