Who here has driven 100,000 problem free miles on their Stang?

electric water pumps don't generally have the long term durability of a belt driven pump...they are typically for cars that need every last bit of horsepower...I don't think I'd want one on a daily driver...

this is what an intake with an aluminum cross-over looks like

(hope that worked)

you could always get a Trick Flow or an HPS all aluminum intake and get it polished up for some extra under-hood bling :rlaugh:

Thanks for the picture :) it looks like I have it. I could always use new engine bling :) If only the trick flow intake came in a polished finish d:

I didn't know the electric water pump is for weekend cars. What's wrong with them? I know Meziere advertises a hp gain, but not much else about daily driving.

They just don't last as long. They make nice HP, but every second you are idling in traffic with them just ticks some of their lifespan away.

They are expensive, and not something you want to change every couple of years where a simple stock WP will go 100K miles easily.
