I have three questions:

1) What is your ET at that MPH?
2) Slicks, DR's or street tires?
3) What does the car make on the Dyno?

My fastest trap speed is 107.9mph, I believe it's good for high 12's but will I need to get slicks or can I do that with DR's?

Thanks for any input,
Gabe

107.9 is plenty enough for a 12 second pass, what were your 60' times like?

on my stock longblock with pullies, 3.73's, msd digital6+, K&N, shifter, and 125 shot I ran a 13.1 @ 107 with 245x50x16 street tires and a 1.9 60ft...spinning threw 1st and second even though I got a 1.9.

I was checking out what I was good for with a 107 trap and it was like 12.6-ish on avg.

I have trapped 108 mph & got 12.9X. I dynoed 350 rwhp. I know the car could be driven better & get better times.

I'm above 107. The ET in my sig was with with major throttle lifting - the car was having shifting problems - the 4R70W didn't like that much torque. We have since corrected that. I use MT DR's and have gotten 1.5 60's with them - so you really don't need slicks. My dyno numbers need to be updated - it hasn't been on the dyno in a while.

LOL Don... yeah I'd say your above 107 by a smidge! He's talking 1/4, not 1/8th mile MPH!

When I was running 107 I was running low 12.7's and made 293rwhp. This was on nitto 245-50-16 drag radials, 100% stock suspension, and mid-low 1.7 60's.

I run a 13.4 @111 w/ a 2.3 60'.

Best 60' has been a 2.1 (only once) and I ran a 13.4 @102 because of missing fourth...
That could have been my 12 sec pass.

THis was all on 255/40/17 kumho 712's (I bet the sidewalls were killing me)

Car made 333rwhp uncorrected (and this was on a 90 deg. day w/ a good amount of humidity) on a DynaPack hub dyno.

I made it to the track last night...over the last two weeks I have been putting a 6 point roll bar in the car...WHAT A PAIN! I used mild steel so I thought it would slow the car down with all the weight I added...Boy was I wrong!

I get 1.9-2.0 60' times. I have gotten 1.8's on Nitto DR's but I haven't put together a good lauch with 3 good shifts. I guess I'm just shifting too slow to make the ET.

Nice times dude. You have 4.30 gears, right? I can't wait to do my 4.30's and 31 spline stuff.

All 3 of my combo's trapped over 106. This one traps 115 crossing the traps WAY too low of an rpm dude to my 3.73 gears killing me. Should be doing around 120 mph once I do the gears and learn to drive it again.

I am going through updating my mustangmods photos and I came across a few of my time slips from when I was trapping at and around 106mph. All these runs were on 245-50-16 nitto DR's with a 100% stock suspension.
