What was the last year of a five speed 4 x4, on any american make. I just test drove an h3t with an auto, then found out the stick only comes with the smaller engine. I can't find even an option for a standard trans on a 4 x 4. I would go with a big six, as I have that on my 96 f-150, but I'd rather have a v-8. What has happened to the american driver when I can't get a full size pickup, 4 x 4 with a five speed? My truck will have to do until I can find either a good older used 4 x4, or until I knuckle under and buy an auto. I want to check out the raptor, but the maine winters are really hard on a vehicle. I'd hate to see salt all over a truck that nice.
thanks for some info,
Doc

i believe you can still get the 250 and bigger with a manual tranny. 6 speed. gas or diesel. with a 4x4 option.

i don't believe there is a gmc/ chevy truck right now that is manual. i work at a gm dealership, and i haven't seen a gm truck with any kind of manual transmission come through.

looks like dodge makes the 2500+ with a 6 speed manual also, with a 4x4 option.

basically alot of the base model trucks that you would see people use for work like construction and such i see in manual. the base trims.

i am not the smartest with trucks though so if the 250/2500+ aren't in the same category i apologize hah.
