who makes a good 347???

i'm doing so looking in to 347 crate engs and turbo set ups but i'm having a hard time finding some 347 (ready to drop in crate engs) there all eather way over the top (600hp) and to much cash or not enuff power.
i would be looking for something that would get me in the sold 12's or maby even high 11's for 4,000 to 5,000
does any one have any sugg.

I got my kit from CHP as well. You could get the FRPP whort block throw on some good heads and good induction and exhaust and you should have a solid 12 second car there.

My CHP 347 was built to about 400-450 HP. I drive mine everyday to work(20miles one way). They can be built in any configuration that you want. Mines a TFS headed,10:1, stock block. with main support.

Early 347's used a 5.4 inch center to center rod, which put the piston pin into the oil conrol ring area, these early motors tended to use oil and smoke a bit, CHP motors use a 5.315 rod and Probe piston which keeps the pin out of the ring area. I dont know if other engine builders incorperate this in their motors, definitely something to consider before purchase.. Ihavn't been to the track with mine yet, so I wont blow smoke up yer ass, as to what it might run. All I can tell you is it makes tons of power and torque

i looked at coast's stuff but only found carbed stuff and there is no way i'm going down that road again. do thay have any efi crate engs.

Usually, the customer supply's the intake, but Im sure that if you want a particular intake they can supply that for you too. There engines fit any combo, carb or EFI
