Says who? What size do you have stock? Gr.A valves were restricted to 36mm. If yours are smaller then there you go.

ahh, the AMS shop car. only thing i don't like about the GT35 turbo is it spools at 4500-5000 rpm. not exactly a good street car. i get peak boost and torque around 3200 rpm, better for zippng around town. you seem to know a bit about evos... thinking of getting one as a daily driver ?

No not really, I know about all rally cars in general and I've been watching the evos in WRC since Gr A times and when a Lancer Evo II was the ****nit along with the Ford Escort RS Cosworth, Toyota Celica GT Four, Lancia Delta Integrale, etc.
As for the GT35 yes that is too big, when I still had my M I was looking into it and other guys were using those on M3's (3.2L) and still would start spooling at 3500 and reach max boost by 4000-4500. The GT30 was gonna be my choice.
