hi guys im about to order an edge converter to replace my current Art Carr converter. Ive heard nothing but good from people who have been running the edge. Im trying to figure out my low MPH at the track and pretty sure its from the converter im running now. As i can only get my h/c/i vert to trap 100 mph in the quarter.
So who thinks ill pick up MPH with a custom stalled edge over my Art Carr???
Just trying to figure out if the price even worth the trouble.
thanks

Converters are a tough thing to predict, unfortunately sometimes people blow alot of money and time installing them, only to find out they can make the car worse possibly.
I do hear good things about edge, i've considered putting one in my 5.0 explorer, but with a transfer case to pull, and a heavy trans, i just don't have the balls to take the risk, for possibly nothing.

Typically a 'custom' anything will net you better than a 'generic' nothing.

What is your h/c/i combination? Timing? Plug and Gap? Race weight?

yea i went ahead and ordered it from andre. He said if my current stall is stalling at the footbrake at 3000 then its really a 3600-3800 converter...which is wayyy tooo much for my car.
AFR 165's, unported cobra intake, 24#injectors, F303 cam
race weight im guestimating around 3700 lbs
autolite 3923's for plugs (nitrous plugs)
timing i have no clue because it doesnt read right when i try to set it...but its set at where it runs lol if that makes sence?
