I have a 99 mustang cobra with 50,000 miles on it with the factory IRS suspension and maximum motorsports subframe bushings in it. I am currently at fort rucker alabama and am in the military so we can use the on post lift and all the tools your heart could desire....let me know if you are interested

Why do you want to lose the IRS ??? Isint that an advantage over the solid axel ?

Why not just swap with your wifes car ?

I'm in Hoover, AL. If it would work with the same Cat-back that I have now I'd do it.

I saw him first

UVBNHAD, the solid axle requires a GT/Mach1 cat-back and the IRS requires the cobra cat-back. On the solid axle cars the pipes go over the axle, in the cobras they go under.

Depends what you want to do. If you want a straight-line performer, then the solid axel is the way to go. If you want to do the twisties then the IRS has leaps and bounds advantages.
