Whole motor - Explorer swap

Has anybody swapped an entire Explorer motor into their car?

Here's my problem. I'm swapping into an '85 4-banger and don't have any front accessories for the 5.0. I do however have all the brackets that are bolted to the Explorer motor. I was thinking that I could just pick up a new 100/130 amp alternator to mount on the Explorer brackets. However I would also like to keep the A/C and power steering.

Should I just start searching for some 5.0 accessories and brackets or what?

from what I have found out you can get creative and "make" the motor work in a mustang with the explorer acc. I am probably going to get some March brackets instead. The alternator is in the right spot, but the PS, AC and there is something else that I know I am forgetting that arent in the right spot. If you get creative you can extend harnesses and fab tubes for the swap. I found it easier to get new brackets.
