Nice table, we have a 9' custom made Connelly Table (probably spelled that wrong) and love it. Seems to be holding up real well too! Looks like you dumped the dining room furniture for it, good idea .

Now get good and go hustle the bars!

We looked @ the Connely's as well, but to be honest the person doing the selln just kinda struck me the wrong way. Kinda made me feel like, he thought we could not afford it Im in sales myself and one of the top rules is "Dont judge someone by what you think". So o-well I went to Player Place instead and chatted with that guy and he made me feel comfortable with out purchase, so I dropped the "CASH" down and here it is. It's a 7' er though. 8' woulda been to tight.
And yea the wife wanted the dining room furniture gone and it really was her pushing to get a pool table
Thanks for the compliment guys.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF THE FELLOW STANGERS.

Well that sucks about the salesman, but no fear, you didn't get any less of a product.

Yeah we have a game room so the 9' fit perfectly in there, which is why we spent more on it. A 7' is a good size table, especially one thats as nice as yours! I love the felt color, I am a huge fan of different than normal felt choices, and it goes well with the wood. It's usually a challenege to please the family with the colors as everyone is different, but Im sure once you start playing its all the same.

Congrats again!

By the way Blue Chalk = bad idea. Going to mark up that table real fast. You should be able to snag a similar colored chalk as the table, we were able to!

Thats funny. It was so late getting it done last night, I didnt care. the guy forgot to bring the tan chalk, so he called the Player Place billiards down the street (BAR/pool hall, not there sales dept) and told the lady to give me some chalk for the night. He left my work about 2hrs ago dropping off a whole box of tan chalk and 2 shorty sticks, one being free for Christmas. The kids will use that one.
Now on the color, the wife likes it, that's the only approval I needed, I can always tell them it looks better than thiers.
Thanks again folks. Im excited and like I stated earlier, can' wait to get home to crack'em somemore.

O'YEA I almost forgot...... The bigscreen is welcome and so is the kegger, my back yard backs up to a pond and the golf course green so we can get noisy if needed.

Ahh good to see you weren't going to use the blue chalk. We got maroon chalk before we ever got the table, along with the cues and balls. When the table came we were there for hours playing. It's great for people to come over and use... I am sure yours will get a ton of use being right off the front door!

Not trying to jack your thread... but give that thing a hair cut! IMO only, but it would look a lot cuter without the long hair. I can't stand when people let their Yorkie look like a mop lol. I'm assuming it's a Yorkie anyway.... full breed?
Ours:

My favorite cause he looks like Wiley Coyote

Very nice table man! We got an 8' American Heritage table about 5-6 years ago, and it was the best Christmas present ever. During 8th grade and the beginning of high school I was very serious about pool and played hours every day. At 13, I played in an 8-ball tournament at the local pool hall thinking I would do it for fun, and ended up winning and beating like 20 guys 5 times my age hahaha! Here's a pic of ours in our basement:

Shes weighs about 2-3 pounds now. They say we have a teacup version?? Yours looks real good. We will get her groomed here real soon.

Yeah he's a full blood, too. Championship bloodline is a plus, especially with the AKC and all the proper documents! The way it was explained to me is that there is no such thing as a "tea cup". Only thing that makes these dogs smaller is proper breeding. The bigger dogs don't come from as good of a blood line. Not saying they're all bad, but the "tea cups" are the best bet for these dogs. May be thats why they're so much more money! What did you spend on that thing? I say 'you' cause if you're like me, you bought if for your lady.

She was $800.00 if I remember correctly. Dog has a great personality, I have always liked a med size dog myself. Used to have a Border Collie that was awsome, but to tell ya this dog has definatly grown on me.
So your sayn the smaller they are the better they are?? If so than that would be a good thing , ahhh what the hell I wouldn't get rid of her either way.
