With my car being an occasional driver car, i am not sure how much money i want to invest (yeah, i feel that calling it "investing" makes me feel better about doing it rather than "dumping" money into the car). Most of the parts that I want are suspension and traction right now, but still.... its not the best on gas.

what are your feelings?

I'll continue to be gas guzzling American. It's my kids that will have to resort to driving electric cars because I've used up all the gas.

Or will blown injected ethanol cars be runing around the streets?

:D

That grain alcohol is good for something....

I'll be modding when everyone else sells their Mustangs. (maybe not us on Stangnet, but you know what I mean)

Dam-it I am just getting started with my car, and I want to get if finished.

at my slow ass rate in putting stuff in the car and with the amount it actually gets driven I don't have any problem doing a mod or 2 whenever I can. hell, the gas companies should be putting a hit out on me any day now because we hardly drive the car at all. we bought the car back in 1993 with 67,000 miles on it and haven't even put 20,000 miles on it since. the car has a total of 83,000 miles on the odometer.

I bought a second car to drive around just so I could put more money into the Mustang. Gas is 112 cents a litre around here (about 3.53 US / Gallon). It's only going to get worse, since it's only Spring but with the money I'll save in gas on the other car, it will pay for itself in about a year, so I'm free to mod! Also be putting far fewer kms on the poor car (198 000kms).

well my cars a DD as well.. so i will have to run with it.. im modding it still... boost, heads, and a custom grind will come this year towards the end.. by then i'll probably buy a lil redneck ranger to drive around

There's more to life than gas mileage. I'll take the bus before I drive a little ****box tin can from a manufacturer that ends in a vowel with a name that doesn't mean anything in English.
