It saves a lot on the "nickel and dime you to death" maintanance that can start to occur on cars after a few years of hard winters.

SPEED FREAK said:There are all wheel drive tempos so getting a rear drive system in one should not be difficult, just take some creative welding. for engine mounting + tranny cut out the center tunnel (for tranny fitting) and install the k frame engine and tranny from mustang all in one peice. modify strut mounts to accept mustang struts. modify fender and quarter panels as necasary to fit the mustang wheels. Fitting the k frame should be fairly straight forward. you will need elec fans, possibly have to switch to a fuel cell to clear the rear diff... lots of little things but it would be a fun project.... I am up for it if you have the space and a heated garage.
