Maybe One out of ten times will my car grind when i first put it in gear the clutch has about 2000 miles on it and the tranny is a freash re-build.....please help

Stretched clutch cable??
Try the adjuster. Pull up on the clutch cable hard and then push it to the floor as far as it will go. If it clicks, it has adjusted
