Ok so im driving home from work with my girlfriend today and some assclown in a ford econline camper or something similar looking drives past me at a stop light and I hear something to the effects of "your mustang ain sh1t!" I look over and make eye contact with the guy just as he pulls off into walmart. So naturally I got a little hot headed and pulled off behind him. I didnt really want to get physical with him but I wanted to ask him wtf his problem was. So Im just cruising around the parking lot and as I drive past the door the ****ing guy walks out from behind my car and says "your mustang aint **** and walks into the store".

I slammed on the breaks and almost got out and beat his ass senseless. I know I know bad idea but i was already worked up from work. So I go into the store and I saw a guy that looked like him but couldnt tell. My girlfriend was flipping out on me telling me to relax so I just let it go which was probably a smart idea.

I know it was dumb but its jealous *******s like that, that I always worry about seeing my car parked out in a parking lot and keying the **** out of it. Sorry for the rant but I needed to vent. I dont understand why people are such idiots.

Don't take this the wrong way, but your girlfriend is the mature one in your relationship. Last I checked, words never killed someone, but following someone into a parking lot to confront them has ended up with people getting their ass beat at best, or killed at worst. Who cares what someone has to say? Even if you had kicked the guy's ass, would you have felt better? And better yet, would your girlfriend have bailed you out when he had you arrested? Is a felony assault charge worth some guy running his mouth? I didn't think so.

Then why do it? Being confronted and going on the defensive is one thing, and I'd back you up 100% if you were the one followed into the parking lot, but you initiated this one, so put on your flame suit, because I'm probably the only nice reply you'll get.

I can understand the anger and frustration. Hell I just threatened a woman in Wal Mart last week for pissing me off. I told her if she did it again I was gonna punch her in her vag

Now if somebody were ever to tell me my Stang aint **** (it has only happened once) then I would just smile and nod. Let the dumbass have his opinion.

I had this punk dude with a souped up STI say "Cobras aint ****, they are not in the same league as my car" I agree, they are not in the same league but he was under the impression his was better. All I said was "Ok" and started to talk to my buddy. My buddy tells the dude that my Cobra is not stock so the guys eyes light up and he says "You wana run them?" I say sure but really had no intention. He askes where my car was and I pointed at it 100' away, dumbass. Not like there was another Mustang in the whole lot much less one with three snakes on it and racing stripes
Anyway my buddy says bring it over into the shop so we can pop the hood. I go start the car up and can see the dude with the STI look over at his friend and mouth "Holy ****!"
I pull it up and pop the hood, his eyes almost poped out of his head! He asked the mods and I told him its just some bolt ons and when he asked the power I said its over 450 rwhp and I wasnt sure cause its had several important mods done since the last dyno run. Then I asked when he wanted to run. All the sudden he had to go to work and was gonna be working doubles for the next few days

Point is people talk out their ass all the time. Dont let a douche like that get to you. If he says your car aint **** and you know its not then just smile and wave. If he says that and your car is a bad ass then just smile and wave. Eaither way it will just piss him off more and ruin his day, not yours.

I really dont get why you would care? So what if you are worked up after work? What does that have to do with anything? Honestly you are the type of Mustang owner that shames the rest of us. I am gonna :Zip2: right now, but I think people that put this kind of stuff on here should be and the thread because frankly nobody cares, and most of us think this behavior is pretty retarded.

I would have just laughed.

I never understood people getting pissed off at someone else who is obviously baiting them into doing so.

This thread is ironic.

Let me explain something to you. If someone is calling names or saying negative words while walking away....it only means they are a and are not worth your time.

you should have gotten a good laugh about him moving the other direction while saying that and just went on bout your business.

I know he did something to provoke you, but what if he would have been carrying a piece and half crazy? just robbed another walmart going to his second hit and you were wanting to fist fight over a few words.

I think you made a bad choice.

The bottom line is that nothing happened. Thunderhorse admitted it was wrong. The good thing about it was that his girlfriend was there to help calm him down. I beleive we all understand how he feels. Sometimes, life can be very touch a times. I just went thru a divorce and I'm much better now. Going thru those rough times I found myself "tested" by situation that would come up. I had to really show some self control. Not just with the divorce but with other everyday matters. Not everyone is on thier "A" game everyday. We all wanted to kick ass over things that in the long run really didn't matter. I'm glad the situation defused itself. Pearl02.

? Maybe. *******? Definitely. Which is even more reason to just let them go on their way with their "win". It was obviously someone looking for a reaction.

Maybe I'm just an overly passive person, but I think it makes more of a point if you laugh and go on YOUR way. It usually pisses them off.

I don't give a rat's ass what people think of me, or what I have. If they don't like it, it's their perrogative. It doesn't affect me in the least.

Life's too short to get worked up about stuff like this. It'd be even shorter if everyone that was in the situation confronted each other and the knives/guns came out.

Ok some of you misread my post. I said I DIDNT want it to get physical. I needed to go to walmart anyway to buy some stuff for mothers day. Thus the reason why I was behind him. I pulled off angry like yeah wtf is that guys problem . I was simply going to ask him that if I saw him. I dont know about most of you but when people talk down to me Im going to stand up for myself. I simply was going to ask when I saw him "dude wtf is your problem?". People are in here saying Im the type of mustang owner that shames the rest of you? Excuse me but im not revving people at redlights and driving like an a**hole. I was simply driving home from work and going to walmart to pick things up. Yeah I stopped my car because he was yelling **** at me. But I didnt get out and attack him.

I even had the piece of mind to admit my behavior was wrong and was simply sharing an experience with the rest of you because Ive read similar situations on here all the time. Hell I read one last week where someone talked about bringing a gun to a shop??? Wow and I get flammed left and right. Its not even like I ran him down and attacked him. Walked into the store with the intentions of asking him why he was acting liek a jerk if I saw him. Regained my cool and freaking let it go. But whatever Im just an *******. Thanks for the lecture. Btw for those of you who said you dont care then dont read it or take the time to resond back then. I just thought I could feel comfortable sharing some life experiences with fellow enthusiasts.

Laser and Pearl were the only ones who felt where I was coming from so thank you.

I didn't like the direction the replies seem to be going. We all have our opnion about things. You have the right to share things like this in the talk section. It's better to get things off your chest and in the process it may help someone else who may be in the same situation. I don't believe we should beat on you about this because we've all been there before. However, we should be able to tell you if we think you are wrong. I think ultimately that some of guys who disagree with you are looking out for your safety. I'm glad that these post do come up. It's just a reminder that life is not aways rosey and things can change without notice. You did admit your actions was wrong and that's more than some people would admit. Thanks for starting this thread. We need this from time to time. Pearl02.

I understand that and thanks for being understanding. My issue was I admited I was wrong and yet people came in and are like "this is stupid" "your an idiot i hope you get banned" and offered NO useful words or advice. I mean I already established it may have not been so smart but the point is I didnt do anything drastic. Ok thats fine if you have an opinion but dont come and flame me and just be ignorant and call me names and what not because in my opinion thats an even worse show of character.

Sounds like that guy was a real ***got, with that being said i would have probably laughed and pointed at him. I get irritated by people like that too, but i find its more satisfying to make them mad and not giving them what they want, by looking back at them with a retarded face and just driving off...now if he had come out of his way After i had parked my car at wal mart and confronted me face to face i probably wouldnt have been able to keep my mouth shut, but if he just screamed it out his window and drove off i would laugh and go on my way...

Some people in this world are just...well...retarded, jealous, imbred and dont even deserve to be recognized as legit people...usually they say stuff like that because they know they have a dead end job working at mcdonalds making 5$ an hour and cant afford anything more than a riced out honda civic....

I know but in a perfect world no one would get mad at each other and we wouldnt have wars and pointless fights etc. But Im only human. We all make mistakes but the important thing is to be able to reflect and make rational choices. I was able to do that. Hell even when I was pissed I knew deep down I wasnt going to try to fight him. Im just a vocal person thats all. If someone says something to me Im curious to know the reasoning behind it.

I started this thread to try and reflect on why people can be abusive and hoped maybe I could get some insight and positive suggestions. All I got was more negative feedback and harassment. It seems most of the people have the anger issues because your all so quick to jump all over me.

It would of been one thing if i said i was planning to do something to this guy. But it was over and done with and I was just trying to disscuss. Im not trying to start an argument but lock this thread if you feel the need.

Well heres the thing he said stuff to me twice. Once driving by and then when I was looking to park in walmart he walks past my window almost in my girlfirends face and says it again. So yeah it was basically in my face thats why I stopped.

Yea, I saw those post. I really sucks when you pour your heart out and people respond this way. By no means should you be banned. I know it's upsetting because the members are here beacuse of our love of Stangs. Some of us view this place as part of our family. When a family member says or does something that causes us pain we get angry and hurt. No ones perfect and we all need to keep that in mind. I'm not gonna preach here because I'm not qualified to do so. Try to forget what was said. I know it easier said than done. Pearl02.
