Primarily, I'm amazed at how F'ed up they act towards each other. A tremendous amount of negativity, there. I think it's really gone down-hill since Chris Ihara sold it.
Same thing happened to AFM, that's why I walked away as a mod over there after 10 years. Halliday sold it, some corporation took over, and even though Halliday was still an admin, it went to hell really quickly and even he doesn't post there anymore.
Once Chris sold the site to some Canadian company that owns about 100 sites, people left several years ago. They are like a lot of fox body sites- guys got older, moved on with life, FarceBook and the younger generation not into message boards, yada yada yada...
This is the weird thing, kind of the opposite happened to AFM. It could be because they embraced Facebook relatively early among the forums and did everything they could to get into every printed Mustang magazine before they all went belly-up and/or merged. I'm not sure. It's the only forum site I've seen that's still anywhere close to as busy as it was back when forums were all the rage (other than Yellowbullet, but that's a whole other kind of forum), but none of the old regulars are around like they are here... at all.
I didn't exactly give that one away, and only the upper, the lower is going on the exxon valdez, cause it has all that 'secret' work done to it, I only give chinee knocks off away, he has a cobra and that car deserves a real cobra intake, otherwise I wouldn't have done it.
what plaque?
