There is a guy here at my job talks crap about my capri which he owns about 4 mustangs. He's telling me to get a real mustang and what the heck I dont care what car it is. Just as long its a Ford product with a V8 and its easy to make fast. Ive owned more mustangs than this moron shoot I got the capri for free so I couldn't pass up a deal like that. Mustangs are my life and Im in the market for a mustang as soon as I get my 1st paycheck from my new job thats coming soon. Dang I just want to shut him up I never once thought just because I have a fox car im cool.

i think your reffering to the 03/04 mach 1's. theyre nice, 2 of my friends have them..one runs 11.6 @ 120 with just N2O and slicks...

as for the guy at work...if you work at a place where theres the stand up urinals are next to the regular toilets..when hes takin a #2, just come in all quiet and take a leak right on his feet....i bet he'll be pissed...literally

capri's were sweet,,,,,,,,unless you got the bubble hatch, that just killed the whole car.
you should take a dump on a rubber glove then go smear it uner his door handles, then tell him his mustang is ****.

I'm not a fan of the bubble hatch either but in your case, I'd keep it, work on motor mods, then blow the doors off of everything the knuckle heads owns.

That's funny, my first car ws a 79 Capri, and I had to tell almost everyone that it was not a Mustang. I hardly ever see Capri's running around anymore. Your co-worker is a moron, you should not let his ridiculous remarks get to you...

Some good suggestions about what to do with the co-worker. Is he married? If so, bang his wife. You have a Capri, which is more rare. When Capri's become bastardized is when people start mixing them with mustang parts when it comes to appearance.

Last time i checked, Mercury was considered to be halfway between Ford and Lincoln in terms of "luxury"

You have the better model

A Capri is nothing but a Mustang with better looking fenders. The guy's a tool.

A clean Capri 5.0 is on my wishlist.

I always thought Capri's were cool. Ive seen two real nice ones over the past few weekends and a guy I bought fenders from has a few beat up Capri parts cars.
One is a '79 with a 2.8 v6 and it has weird door panels with the handle at the bottom. The car is shot due to rust though.

79 had the handles on the bottom, in 80 they were relocated to their current position.

Ignore him. I worked with 5 guys who owned S197 platforms. And one guy who owned a lightning. They all gave me the same crap you get. I ignored it. Funny thing is they couldn't stop staring when I drove by. Give him a little while. He will come around just like they did. Then you will be all one happy family at work. Just stay away from the guy who only wants to talk about his car all the time.
