what size motor 8 or 6 dump the tranny auto sucks anyway dont know much about stangs but good headers hookers is what I would use and nice cam gt40 heads short throw shifter 9 in rear end or you can go all out and get a procharger or vortec blowers or a really nice turbo kit it just depends on how much you have and what you want to do with the car daily driver or track car have fun
Iam not sure why everyone is talking about this guys trans when that is clearly not his problem. Dont get me wrong I dont know what his problem is but I have a aod and my stang will turn my 17s with traction bars for as long as I want them to spin almost. So how bout so good adivice for the poor fella. Five speed aod what ever this dudes car schould be way faster than it sounds to be .
