You may need a new torque converter, as well as a shift kit, since the gears change things up a bit. I am the furthest thing away from an expert on this, but I always hear Gears/converter/shift kit in the same sentence.
Could you also be spinning the tires and losing time there?

are you power breaking off the line or just pushing the gas when the light turns green, and are you shifting it or are you letting it shift automatic? Also what rpm is it shifting at?

Converter is the problem, the stock stall is way too low for any good times to be run at the track.

Check out my sig for my times and notice that I'm in the 13.8's with not much more than you have. The stall and some ET Streets brought my times down to the 14.1's with 3.55's in the car. 13.8's with the 3.90's.

there is a big difference between 15.19 and 13.80. i think it is something besides the stall making it slow. it ran 15.10 without the gears.

get a good convertor. Heard some people going from 14s to high 13s with a switch of a convertor. Good luck.

I ran 14.9 at 92 with stock 2.73's and an off-road H and Mac cat-back. So i dunno what to tell you, i'll be putting 3.73's in soon and hoping for a big difference.

What's your altitude??

91MPH is a low trap speed for what you have done.

No doub look into a converter. I have heard many great things about aftermarket 2500-2800 stalls on bolt on Stangs!

He shouldn't need a torque converter. He's down on power for some reason.

With about the same mods, i was running 14.4's @ 97-98MPH all with stock converter and no shift kit in the AOD.

That time isn't too far off for the mph he is running. Something is wrong with the car.
