because it merges exhaust gases in one area. creating a higher temp which creates a boost in the exhaust velocity

Prochamber probably makes the most hp and tq combined. If you want a deep sound go with a hpipe or prochamber. The prochamber isnt as loud as a hpipe but it does scream in the upper rpms.

Prochamber is my choice based on sound alone, dont count on a torque gain though...psh I miss my low end...

Prochamber has a nice deep tone ...but its quieter than the other mid pipes. Any midpipe is going to sound deep on a stang, so if you want it to be loud - An O/R X or H will probably be your best option.

I had the Prochamber on my GT and the sound was GREAT even through the stock mufflers. I had some problems with fit and finish of the product.

I just bought the O/R H-pipe by MAC because I still want some low end but I also want the scream sound...

Wrong! While you do lose some on the low end, you gain a significant amount of horsepower and tq in the upper RPM band; especially around 3000. The loss on the low end can be negated with a power adder or cheaply with gears (which is what I would do anyway before adding a blower/nitrous).

When I just had the prochamber and flows, I didn't notice any loss in low end. I dyno'd at 240 rwhp and 281 tq and the curve was pretty close to stock...just more power. I gained some torque and about 10 rwhp over stock with the prochamber. They sound great - IMO - but getting them to fit properly is a problem. Mine seems to work itself loose every couple of months.
