Why to NOT cut off your cats and mufflers.

I know the feeling...........ended up getting 40 series dumped to 'quiet' down the straight pipe

My car was with out mufflers since I got it. It wasnt even that loud with just cats IMO. But maybe thats becasue Im partially deaf due to straight pipes. lol

Who needs headers anyway. Cut those off too. I once ran a car like that. Gues what..NO drone at all! And my family firends and neighbors knew when I left for work every morning AND they knew when I was running late! :)

Yeah, I've ran open LTs a number of times. Doesn't sound too wicked since all I have for a cam is a TFS stage 1, but it aint bad. Idle sounds pretty good but when you get on it its just all noise.

I've driven mine with open LT's... It was just annoying and noisy to me, cause it exited under your feet. Purpose built racecars even dump the headers out the side, which would be better.
