Why would the tire to wheel well gap be different on one wheel?

The gaps are both bigger on the fronts then the back but I can basically fit three fingers easily between the tire and fender on all three wheels with some play, but on the rear passenger side I can only just barely squeeze three fingers into the gap.

I took it to my mechanic and he said they checked it by the frame to the ground and said it was fine, but that still leaves me wondering about the tire/fender gap. The mechanic said it could be that the body is twisted.

Also this car had the Eibach pro springs in it when i bought it. Any thoughts?

Remove the rear wheels. Run a large(ish) carpenter's square from the hub to the fender well and post your results.

The three finger measurement method can change by something as small removing a car battery or any other suspension loading factor including tire inflation.

Spring could be clocked differently or tire pressure/wear be different. I could re-clock the spring and go from there.

I'm sure my car was in a wreck before its time with me, the front 2 tires don't line up the same on each side, but I can't feel anything wrong with mine, also the car is aligned properley and no frame damage either. I'm not quite sure why mine is like this but I don't have any problems with it so it's just a slight eyesore when people notice it. Any ideas on what this could be for me?

Just an imperfection in the body. Over time the body will settle like that and there's nothin that can be done. When I did all the measurements to build my rear suspension my front right and left rear were off by 1/8" - 3/16". Only thing that could be done was get it as close to perfect as possible. No unibody is going to be perfect on all dimensions.

I've run into similar situations before and it came down to the cars being in wrecks and improperly repaired (one of which was not listed on the carfax report). I hope that isnt the case for you.

In regards to my car, it drives straight and was/is properly aligned. Also the tires wear evenly so its not a big deal. It just looks off a bit but other than that I see nothing else wrong.
