are you planning on getting the drag pack? or just the gear swap? if you only want the gears, you can order just gears and get 4.10s. you could also purchase an install kit for the gears. that might put you close to the $450, and i dont know what they charge for labor to install, so you might have to shell out a few $$ to cover the rest.

I went to the drag pack site again today and they had teh auto 06 set up now (http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=9401)
Instead of paying 1200 for it I think I will get the 8.8" RING GEAR AND PINION SETS and and INSTALLATION KIT
http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=9031
http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=5962
from it (which will pretty much use up my balance at the dealership). and teh tuner and CAI from tunableinductions you list above.
the gear and pinion set will change my gear ratio to 3.73 Does this sound smart to you?

The $1299.00 is for the CAI, shorty headers, muffler and drag package, if you're just interested in the 8.8 Ring Gear And Pinion And Installation Kit. by itself.. Then it's $225.00 plus $40.00 for the install kit, which is for the 4.10's.. Here's the part # M-4209-G410* And link..http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=255

After reading you're original quote, I just wasn't sure if you meant the drag pack or not.. So after checking the FRPP website and looking everywhere, under the performance packages for 4.10 gears, but was still unable to locate them, It then became even more confusing.. So finally, I tried clicking onto the 2005-06 parts tab instead, and was finally able to locate them that way... Anyway, is this the right part # for the 4.10's ?? M-4209-G410* Thanks...

D'oh! I apologize for further confusing everyone. Wait, actually, I put some blame on Ford for their confusing parts and packages.

4.10s with a supercharger is fine. many prefer 3.73s instead, but the speed shop here recommends 4.10s as mod motors love to rev. it is mostly preference. 3.73s would help you a little off the line.
