I finished installing my Dynojet Wideband Commander yesterday. It was not an easy install by any means due to all the wires but seeing a real air fuel ratio at all times while driving is very cool. Anyway here are the photos.

Before the install wires were ready to go.

Installed product

Whats the big advantage of that... I could see having one if running turbo or supercharger if you were going to run different boost levels... Its nice to make sure u dont go too lean...

I think it's a must in my situation with my HP level and 17lbs of boost. Also with the heat and humidity of Florida it lets me keep an eye on things. It's also great if you have a lap top since it has a USB port on it and allows you to datalog your car while street tuning.

Pimp.

I still dont understand why these things are so expensive though. Electronics are so cheap to make now, why are there no $50 knock-offs?

Cool beans though

So you say it has a USB port for your laptop. What kind of software do you need or will come with its own. Also what are the capabilities you can do with the laptop. Such as can you monitor you hp and so forth. Other than that its a sweet set-up and nice install. Being in St.Louis I understand what you mean by humidity and so forth whenever I get my supercharger I will definently need the guague.

Since my rear 02's are shut off I removed the drivers side rear sensor and replaced it with the Wideband 02 that comes in the kit. Since I have a Dr. Gas the X is before the rear 02's it's getting exhaust from both heads. it comes with the software on CD but you can also download it from their website.

Software can be downloaded Here

You can do alot with the setup such as: using the TPS signal wire for nitrous, datalog with or without a laptop, play back data in real time on a pc or lap top, etc etc etc.

So did you have to turn your rear O2's back on to make this work? See I am working on getting my check engine light off and sneak by emissions... This is one thing I am definatley looking at... See if you have this you dont need to pay the big money for a dyno tune either!!! Since it is accesible through this... I believe I am correct on this...

The rear 02's don't have to be turned on. The new 02 you get with the kit runs directly to the wideband commander. If you know how to tune a car I can see this as another option but doing a high speed pull could be dangerous especially if your watching the guage and not the road.

LOL yeah The best option would be to get a laptop and hook it up to record and then go drive like a nut
