decided against going with the 17s and go with some 15's
i searched the FAQs didn't find anything
i've asked this question before yes but about 17" rims

would i have any problems at all with a 15x10 Rim or would 15x9 be better?

whats the widest and tallest a tire can be , not going for the biggest, just want whats safe without any major modding

THANKS!

Not sure if this helps but my 93 GT has 15inch welds with 275s. The clearance is marginal.

15x10's will fit but you will need to roll the fender lip and remove the quad shocks. And a 315 will fit on a 10" rim.

biggest i know you can get on in a 28" tire is a 275/60-15

315 if you stick with a 26" tire

To add to that, the 275/60-15 is tight, tight, tight. LX guys are more likely to get away with it than GT guys, since the GT side skirts/bumper reduce the room you have fore and aft of the tire.

Reliable people claim you can fit a 325/50/15 if you heat and beat the inner fenders. 15x10 with 6.5 bs is the way to go rim wise. Also, with a 275/60, you dont have to roll the lip

Ive seen it done, i mocked them up on my car and it didnt look close, but ive been told that i could knock in alot more on my stock wheel tubs. Im not saying they wouldnt rub, but its doable.
