Widest Rubber on stock Bullits?

so what is the fattest tread you can put on the stock bullit wheels? i want to get the deep dish anthracite like stock, but would not mind trying to fit 275 to 295 on stock wheels, if anyone has done 295's let me know, thank you....EdeN

245's up front 275's in rear... no problem, doesnt even bulge over at all.

255 is the widest you should go on the stock 17x8 wheels. There are many people, myself included, that run 275/40s on the stock wheels with no problems, but there's no way that you should even attempt to put 295s on the stock 8" rim.

My friends thought i was crazy for putting 275's on, but 295's, whoa. If you decide to try it, let us know how it works out, but I would say that 275's are the widest you should go. I run 275's all around.

I ran 275/40/17 on the rear lowered w/ eibach sportlines and 1" wheels adapters. Awesome look, but it would sometimes rub a little on big curbs. So I started going up the curbs head on (slowly) instead at an angle. See my garage by my avatar to check out the look.

275s are about it, but some people have also had problems w/them, too

I have 275's all around. Wouldn't do it again, they track too much.

I would do 255's in the front and 275's
in the rear and Nitto 555's would be a
great choice for your tires!
