will 245/50/16 fit my stang

I have the nitto 450's on the pony wheels, which are the same size. The car handles poorly compared to before with the 225/55. The only reason is the tire is too wide for the rim. Others will tell you its fine to run it this way, but I felt the difference big time. The front ones rub a little on the K-member, but only if you cut the wheels too far. The rears clear just fine, but my fenderwells are rolled.
