From what i've heard you can use the 87-93 Pro M meters in our cars but since our car's MAF has a flange it isnt a direct fit. So the only way to make it work is with a custom setup of some sort, like those home made CAI's that alot of guys on here have made. I'd like it if somebody else on here can confirm this just to make sure.
Why would you want to use a pro m sensor on a stock meter? I think it would make the car run worse than not doing anything at all.

the reason im asking this question is beacause i got a 75mm bullet calibrated for 19lbs for my 95. the meter is for a fox body. as many know, these meters tend to work or not work on our cars. well, my eec is still throwing the same code it did when my stock MAF sensor went bad , and it still idles high....im gonna sell the MAF to my buddy and im trying to figure out if his stock Maf sensor will work on my car with my stock mAf meter, or if i can run the pro m sensor with my stock meter, which i doubt since its calibrated for a bigger meter

what do you guys think? should i get my buddy's stock sensor and buy a c&l meter? or should i buy pro m meter with sensor made to be used on my car?? now, i would lean towards a c&l since it uses the stock sensor and calibration is only 20bucks away....which is better?

It depends on who you talk to. Some guys like the C&L's because they haven't had trouble with theirs but i've heard alot of people bitc$ing about how their car runs like crap with one so i bought a Pro-M. I like the Pro-M because it comes with a sensor that is calibrated to that MAF.
