Well, I bought a Griffin alum. rad. and the holes are staggered. On my waterpump the inlet and outlet holes are on the same side. So my question is will a 1970 waterpump bolt up to my block because (correct me if Im wrong) but wansnt 1970 the first year the inlet and outlet holes on different sides of the waterpump?

I don't know what kind of an engine you have... but on the windsor V8's I've seen (including the one in my 70). The waterpump only has 1 inlet hole... the outlet is on the intake manifold.

I'm guessing your looking for a water pump with a drivers side inlet. If that's the case, then yes a water pump from a 1970's windsor should fit.

You're right. Im sorry. I meant to ask if the outlet was driverside. I had a brain fart. Thanks.
