Will a '93 5.0 fit a '95 w/ a v6?

I am sure it will but I am just double checking. Also, can I swap all of the electronics to it as well? The reason why I am asking is because I am picking up a '95 mustang for a great price but it has a v6 and I have a friend that has a '93 5.0 engine and tranny that has only 68,000 miles from his fox body that he totaled. It also has a lot of performance stuff done to it such as a high lift cam, edelbrock upper and lower intake, and so on. The mustang I am picking up looks to be ready for the 5.0 as well. The p.o. has swapped out the rear end to a 8.8 with 3:55 gears with quad shocks. It also has the triax shifter with it and I can use that with the t5 tranny can't I? They are interchangable?

I am new to the 5.0L engines but what would be a good set of replacement heads? I have heard the trick flows are very good but not sure as I haven't researched this stuff much. I am hoping to keep this project under 7,000 with the price of the car included and some of the other performance parts on top of that. Thanks Guys!

Sometimes the search doesn't tell all.

I had that very conversion done this summer--93 5.0 into a 95 V6. The shop that did it is an established performance shop, and it still took all summer. I refered them to the article mentioned in an earlier post. They ended up calling the guy and he said he wouldn't do it again for twice the money! He said that he only told about half the story in the article!

The guys that did mine agree. Way too much trouble. Their conclusion: get a 94 or 95 doner car--don't try it from a fox body. My wiring harness alone was a real challenge. I think it ended up being spliced together from parts of three harnesses. You'll also need an instrument cluster. The V8 barely runs with the V6 cluster.

Mine came out great, but they told me they will not do that one again!

you can use the engine. Wiring use 94-95 GT harnesses and computers. Also get the 94-95 Fuel Rails and GT fuel Lines, Distributor, and Ignition Module for 94-95. Then hook everything up. Will be direct minus one splice which will be the TPS connector.

I just did this less than a week ago for a gentlemen from Michigan. I wired the whole car for him.

Have any questions feel free and ask or e-mail me.

Yep, that was me. Danny's a great guy and definatly knows his stuff. I did the swap including motor/tranny and rear axle, and I was having trouble figureing out wiring for this thing and I found danny. And the great part is, he lives 3 hours or so away. After quite awhile of not having a running car, I'm now tonight waiting on a guy to bring over some o2 sensors and the car is complete. Infact I've already drove it 10 or so miles. (I had to take it out once, even though it didn't have o2 sensors) :D
